As the U.S. continues to urbanize it's cities, every city and it's inhabitants are finding that the cities they once knew are losing it's cultural foundation and the desire to preserve that cultural foundation in which is was established. For example, tourism is becoming a more established industry in cities across the world especially Tucson.
In regards to tourism in Tucson, the tourists are beginning to make Tucson their new home. The picture in the header above is a picture of a city program in Missoula called "Out to lunch". On Wednesday afternoons, families gather publicly together to have lunch during the summer in order to spend time together as apart of a Downtown Missoula Partnership program.
These are a few examples of ideas that can bring communities together and not only preserve culture but elevate new cultural ideas for communities to enjoy as cities continue to develop.
